DescriptionThe Department of Obstetrics Gynecology and Reproductive Science of the Mount Sinai Heath System (MSHS) is seeking full-timefaculty to join our faculty practice at MSH.
The Department consists of over 130full time and voluntary board-certified physicians providing care to the diverse community served by Mount Sinai. As a member of the of the MSHS and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai we are able to offer the professional benefits of a major academic/research medical center. With over 6000 deliveries per year the Department supports residents in a four year residency program and an active teaching program for third-year medical students from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. All OB/Gyn sub-specialties are represented in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Science.
ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking faculty who will to join our team in our faculty practice. The facultywill be members of the full-time faculty and will working toward growing their faculty practice. He/she will cover and supervise the care of their privatepatients in addition to serving as the attending for residents and midwives (backup) as well as triage emergencies and supervise the care of unregistered patients. The candidates will be expected to directly work with residents and medical students in labor and delivery the operating room and the inpatient wards for any admitted Obstetrical patients as the attending physicians.
We are seeking Board Certified experienced Obstetricians who can provide consistent compassionate high-quality safe and patient-centric care personalized to each and every successful candidate will possess clinical abilities as demonstrated through training education certification and experience strong interpersonal communication leadership and organizational skills embrace the teaching mission of Mount Sinai West and the MSHS and qualify for an academic appointment to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The candidates must have or be able to obtain a valid New York State Medical License.
