Job Summary
Position Title: Clinical Lab Technologist
Location: New York NY
Type: Contract
Pay: $50$55/hour

Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience
Associates Degree from an accredited laboratory technician program (required); Bachelors Degree preferred
Valid NYSED license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (092) with Primary Source Verification
BLS certification preferred
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform clinical laboratory testing in assigned sections (hematology chemistry microbiology blood bank etc.)
Operate maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment
Ensure accuracy of test results through proper quality control procedures
Document and report laboratory findings in accordance with policies and regulations
Follow laboratory safety infection control and regulatory standards
Participate in proficiency testing and quality improvement activities
Communicate critical values promptly to appropriate clinical staff
Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate laboratory records
