Position: CT Technologist

Location: New York NY 10038
Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM (includes a 60-minute break)
Department: Radiology Diagnostic
Assignment Length:2 Months
Schedule: Monday Friday 3:00 PM 11:30 PM plus every other weekend

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a busy Diagnostic Radiology department for a short-term assignment in New York NY. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills attention to detail and the ability to provide high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Requirements:

High School diploma/GED (required)
Graduate of an accredited radiography program (required)
ARRT certification in Radiography (required)
New York State licensure in Radiography and certification to inject contrast media (required)
Minimum 3 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging (required)
Proficiency with EMR RIS HIS PACS and modality-specific software (required)

Responsibilities:

Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
Ensure safe and effective administration of contrast media as per certification.
Operate imaging and diagnostic equipment while maintaining accuracy and image quality.
Adhere to all safety infection control and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with radiologists physicians and healthcare staff to ensure timely and effective imaging services.
Accurately document patient information and maintain records in EMR and PACS systems.
Provide compassionate patient care explaining procedures and addressing patient needs.
