Job Summary
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Director of Fashion Design menswear for the RW&CO. brand the Lead Fashion Designer manages the development of our Menswear collection from concept to delivery by creating and executing original trend-appropriate design concepts that meet market needs and drive sales. You ensure the timely execution of each stage in the design process through your leadership of a design team. You will leverage your deep understanding of fashion trends your solid artistic background and your capability to shape our RW&CO. menswear brand aesthetic in line with our brand positioning strategic objectives.
What you will do:
- Support your leaders by defining seasonal trends for target market.
- Inspire coach and develop a talented team of designers.
- Within your category bring forward your ideas on how to bring the latest trends to life for our customers.
- Collaborate on the creation of artwork and determine seasonal color cards.
- Work in partnership with the technical design team and provide insight on drawings.
- Manage all aspects of presentation from boards to prototypes to the articulation of ideas and market direction.
- Attend fittings to ensure the garments fit as well as it looks.
Qualifications :
Who you are:
- College diploma in Fashion Design.
- 8 years of related experience in fashion design.
- Excellent Illustrator knowledge.
- Comfortable presenting ideas in front of key stake holders.
- Excellent fashion sense and knack for originality and creativity.
