Job Summary

We are open to discussions with OTs with all levels of experience that enjoy the flexibility of having a mobile caseload!

Your day will include:

  • Managing an allocated caseload and completing therapeutic services in a timely manner
  • Assessing participants emotional psychological cognitive developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
  • Providing therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and help participants get more out of life
  • Providing support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home school work and residential facilities
  • Recommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist participants with their functional limitations and to promote independence
  • Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

You will need:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
  • Proactive attitude motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
  • Looking for a fun collaborative and supportive work environment
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
