Job Description

Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician / Service Technician / Auto Mechanic to join our team.

Experience with a variety of vehicle makes would be an advantage, but is not essential - if you're keen to learn, we'd still love to hear from you!

Minimum Requirements:

  • NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology through IMI or City & Guilds Level 2 (or equivalent)

  • Open to newly qualified candidates with no direct work experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality repairs and first-time fixes to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Complete video vehicle health checks to identify issues and upsell opportunities

  • Communicate effectively with workshop supervision regarding job progress

  • Undertake regular training to expand technical knowledge and skills

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

  • (If applicable) Carry out MOTs in line with DVSA standards
