Our client a leading player in the automotive industry is seeking to hire a Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager who will be responsible for maximizing dealership profitability by managing vehicle finance insurance and value-added product sales while ensuring strict compliance with industry regulations. This role requires strong financial acumen exceptional sales skills and the ability to work with both customers and internal teams in a dynamic target-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate vehicle finance with financial institutions to secure the best rates and terms for customers
- Present finance and insurance options clearly ensuring customers understand all terms interest rates and repayment structures
- Structure deals to maximize dealership profitability while remaining affordable for customers
- Advise customers on and sell a range of aftermarket products including extended warranties service plans credit protection gap cover tracking devices anti-theft products and window film
- Assess customer needs and customize product packages accordingly
- Ensure all finance and insurance transactions comply with relevant financial legislation and industry regulations
- Oversee the accurate and timely completion of all finance and insurance contracts and supporting documents
- Maintain confidentiality and verify all customer information including identity and income documentation
- Monitor and report on F&I department sales performance to ensure monthly targets are met or exceeded
- Build and maintain strong relationships with financial partners insurance providers and other suppliers
- Provide training and support to sales staff on new finance and insurance products and processes
- Address and resolve customer queries and complaints regarding finance or insurance products
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Finance Business Administration Accounting or a related field
- Regulatory certifications: Relevant financial regulatory accreditation is essential (e.g. financial advisory or credit certifications)
- Experience: Minimum of 3 5 years experience in a Finance and Insurance role within the automotive industry
- Valid driver s license required
- Exceptional sales and negotiation skills to secure optimal deals for both customers and the dealership
- Strong knowledge of vehicle finance insurance products and regulatory compliance
- Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and an organized approach to documentation
- Proficiency with dealership software and finance platforms
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced target-driven environment
