Job Summary
Smartkarma is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Analyst ASEAN Private Markets to build ongoing research coverage across important venture capital- and private equity-backed businesses and industries in ASEAN.
Key Responsibilities:
Own overall responsibility for publishing high-impact research on venture capital- and private equity-backed businesses and industries in ASEAN for institutional investors.
Develop and implement research frameworks to provide independent commentary on ASEAN business and industry trends and opportunities.
Oversee research pipelines including management of networks of analysts and vendors.
Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals clients and media to support primary research and thought leadership.

Qualifications :
7 years of experience in equity research private equity and/or venture capital markets.
Deep understanding of ASEAN private markets key businesses and industries including bridging the gap between private companies and public-market investors.
Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality research and investment insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience communicating with senior stakeholders and clients.
Forward-looking tech and entrepreneurial mindset; comfort leveraging AI tools and alternative datasets to scale the unit while incorporating an owner mindset.
