About the job SAP ABAP - Associate Consultant (Makati) Hybrid
Work Schedule: Morning Shift
Work Setup: Hybrid (3x onsite per week) Makati
Eligibility: Open to local and expat candidates currently residing in the Philippines
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and enhancement of SAP S/4HANA applications using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
- Build and maintain side-by-side extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using CAP or Java.
- Assist in designing and implementing clean core-compliant extensions using in-app and on-stack extensibility techniques.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop OData services Fiori Elements apps and event-driven architectures using SAP Event Mesh or SAP Integration Suite.
- Participate in code reviews unit testing and performance tuning.
- Document technical specifications test cases and deployment procedures.
- Stay updated on RISE with SAP GROW with SAP and SAP BTP innovations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP development with exposure to S/4HANA and cloud-based development.
- Hands-on experience with any of the following:
- ABAP on Cloud / RAP
- SAP BTP (Business Application Studio CAP)
- OData and CDS Views
- Fiori Elements and UI5 (basic level)
- Understanding of clean core principles modular architecture and extensibility options in S/4HANA.
- Familiarity with Git CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in SAP environments is preferred
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP BTP or ABAP Cloud Certification.
- Exposure to SAP Integration Suite SAP Event Mesh or SAP Build tools.
- Experience with REST APIs JWT authentication and cloud-native development.
Educational Background:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related field.
