We have an opportunity to join our team as Senior Legal Counsel. The Senior Legal Counsel reports to the General Counsel and is responsible for providing high-quality and pragmatic advice and developing legal services and resources to ensure Hato Hone St John manages its legal obligations and organisational risks. The Senior Legal Counsel will advise on a wide range issues including:
- Commercial & contractual arrangements
- Regulatory & compliance issues
- Governance
- Privacy
- Project work
Working in a unique and dynamic environment this role provides an excellent pathway for those with ambitions to progress to a General Counsel position.
Qualifications :
Ko wai koe - About you:
- Law degree
- Current practising certificate
- Minimum six years PQE
- A track record of providing advice and managing legal issues within a complex multi-stakeholder environment with some in-house experience.
- An ability to bring an understanding of best practice and provide pragmatic and actionable legal advice to wide range of internal clients.
- Strong analytical attention to detail and critical reasoning skills.
- Strong planning organisational skills to manage disparate activities simultaneously.
