Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals under the supervision of senior chefs.
Follow recipes portion controls and presentation standards set by the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs.
Ensure that all food items are prepared in compliance with the hotel s hygiene and safety standards.
Support the kitchen team across various stations including sauces garnishes and side dishes.
Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the workstation at all times.
Assist with receiving checking and properly storing deliveries of food supplies.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow during service hours.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report shortages to supervisors.
Adhere to HACCP food safety and sanitation procedures.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent qualification in Culinary Arts Catering or related field.
Minimum of 2 3 years experience working in a professional kitchen preferably in a five-star hotel or fine-dining restaurant.
Strong understanding of cooking methods food preparation and kitchen operations.
