HEAD OF AI DEVELOPMENT (FMD)

We are currently looking for a Head of AI Development where you will play a significant role at the heart of shaping and driving Ignitis group AI strategy ensuring the seamless integration of advanced technologies to position the company as a truly digital enterprise. As Head of AI Development you design and implement AI strategy and define strategic priorities build and manage teams of machine learning and data science specialists to ensure AI supports long-term business goals.

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by: 

• Designing and implementing AI strategy that accelerates Ignitis group transformation and positions the company at the center of AI initiatives 
• Aligning AI initiatives with business goals and long-term innovation strategy 
• Identifying areas where AI can create value improving efficiency enchancing customer experience developing new products etc. 
• Overseeing the design of scalable AI systems including data pipelines model deployment and ML Ops 
• Guiding teams in developing training and optimizing machine learning models 
• Staying up to date with AI trends and evaluating new tools frameworks and platforms 
• Ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations ethical AI practices and the responsible use of AI

Qualifications :

• 2 years proven track of leadership experience and delivery in AI machine learning or data science  
• Strong understanding of AI technologies platforms and responsible AI practices  
• Knowledge of model lifecycle management CI/CD for ML containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and agentic AI  
• Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and lead teams (including cross-functional project teams) deliver sustainable results and drive change 
• Solid problem - solving and decision-making skills ability to find a solution in complex issues 
• Proficiency in English
