Job Summary
Field Network Engineer - MSP - Dublin
We re partnering with a growing Dublin MSP to hire a hands-on Field Network & Installations Engineer. You ll own site visits deploy and tune network gear and keep business users online and secure across mixed environments.
What you ll do
Deploy & configure on site: switches/routers wireless and firewalls; manage upgrades and cutovers.
Fix what matters fast: diagnose networking VPN/VLAN/routing Windows/AD and endpoint issues across client sites.
Own the case: act as the main technical contact during field calls keeping users informed and issues moving.
Leave things better: capture clean notes/diagrams/configs and feed improvements back to the team.
Contribute to rollouts: support small-to-mid sized network changes and new-site setups with the projects/service desk.
Requirements
5 years in networking/IT infrastructure (MSP or field services background welcomed).
Strong practical knowledge across TCP/IP DHCP DNS VPNs VLANs routing.
Experience with enterprise firewalls (at least one major platform) and common network devices.
Solid grounding in Windows Server/Active Directory and general endpoint/server support.
Comfortable working from an MSP toolset (RMM/PSA/ticketing) and communicating clearly with end users.
Full Irish driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites (field-based/onsite role).
