Application Architect – TiA Platform

Ergo Forsikring a part of the global ERGO Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Application Architect to lead the development and modernization of our TiA insurance platform. This role is central to ERGO Forsikrings long-term ambition to evolve into a multiliner insurer across the region.

As we expand our product portfolio beyond travel and health insurance you will be instrumental in ensuring our core systems are fit for scale integration and innovation in line with our business and technology strategy.

The Opportunity

As Application Architect TiA you will hold end-to-end architectural responsibility for the TiA platform within the Nordic region. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders IT leadership and external partners to shape a future-proof application landscape that supports growth operational excellence and compliance.

This is a key role within our IT organization positioned at the intersection of business transformation and technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve the TiA platform to support new product lines and business domains
• Ensure platform scalability security maintainability and alignment with group-wide architectural standards
• Serve as technical lead on TiA-related initiatives including platform enhancements integrations and migrations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into robust architectural solutions
• Contribute to and enforce architectural governance documentation and quality standards
• Integrate TiA with surrounding systems ensuring end-to-end process alignment and data integrity
• Ensure compliance with internal risk security and data protection requirements

The Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a strong architectural background in insurance platforms specifically deep experience with TiA. You should be capable of operating both strategically and hands-on in a complex cross-functional environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related discipline
• 10 years of experience in insurance IT with substantial involvement in TiA implementations
• Proven experience in application architecture and integration in a multi-product or enterprise setting
• Strong understanding of TiAs architecture data models workflows and configuration
• Solid grasp of architectural principles software lifecycle management and system interoperability

Desirable Skills

• Experience with modern integration approaches (APIs microservices event-driven architecture)
• Exposure to cloud strategies and hybrid environments
• Familiarity with security and regulatory frameworks in the insurance or financial services sector
• Certifications such as TOGAF SAFe Architect or similar are considered a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Professional fluency in English; knowledge of a Nordic language is an advantage
