Job Summary
This role provides strategic commercial and contract management advice and guidance to the business units management team. The focus is on post-award contract management covering construction delivery client/vendor/subcontractor agreements claims compliance and risk management through to project close-out. Kanadevia Inova is seeking an experienced Director of Contract Management to oversee the full lifecycle of contract execution for complex EPC and BOT projects.
Main responsibilities are:
- Strategic commercial and contract management advice and guidance
- Strong people-focused leadership and coaching of commercial project teams
- Lead the management of contracts and cooperate actively with the projects leadership
- Leads claim negotiations and supports resolution of complex commercial challenges
- Enhances tools processes and setups for global projects while ensuring compliance and risk awareness
Qualifications :
- 10 years of experience in leading contract management in international industrial plant project delivery (waste to energy power oil & gas infrastructure or utilities).
- Excellent Commercial knowledge cost controlling experience and capability to train commercial project management skills
- Very good negotiation skills and ability to convincingly carry complex arguments
- Bachelors degree in Law Construction Management or Business (JD LLB or MBA is a plus)
- Fluent in business English. German a plus
