Industrial Labourer

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day to day monitoring or assigned project.
• Maintain cleanliness of Tools and Equipment and Industrial Services Shop.
• Power washing and High Pressure Water blasting as required.
• Line snaking Drain and Pipe Inspections as required.
• Industrial cleaning of chemical non-hazardous and hazardous wastes.
• Assist on Vacuum Trucks/plant operations as required.
• Confined Space Entry/ Rescue as required for Industrial Services Projects.
• Working in tight or cramped spaces.
• Working while using Respirator or Supplied Air Breathing Apparatus.
• Shoveling Jack Hammering Squeegee Scraping and heavy lifting as required.
• Operate Pick-up truck utility trailer forklift excavator bobcat etc.
• Operate Aerial boom lift/Scissor Lift as required.

Knowledge Skills & Competencies:

• 2-5 years experience in Industrial Cleaning and Maintenance strongly preferred.
• Must be clean shaven in order to wear a respirator.
• Class G license required.
• Experience working in Industrial settings an asset.
• Previous experience with Vacuum Trucks Industrial Power-washing or Water-blasting or Liquid Waste Industry experience strongly preferred.
• Previous experience with Confined Space Entry or Work at Heights an asset.
• Ability to work flexible hours/shifts days evenings nights & possibly weekends or holidays.
• AZ/DZ License is considered an asset.
• Must be comfortable with driving and maneuvering a pick-up truck and trailer unit.
• Friendly and professional able to deal directly with customer contacts on site.
• Ability to multi-task take direction and work without supervision or within a team at times.
• Working at heights greater than 3 meters.
• Will be required to wear protective gear i.e.; fall arrest respirator tyvek suit etc.
