Part-Time Intern Wireless

SUMMARY

• We are seeking a motivated high school student with a strong interest in engineering and technology to join our Wireless Conformance Testing team. This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to real-world engineering practices test methodologies and laboratory work in the field of wireless communications.
• The intern will assist engineers and test technicians with projects related to wireless device evaluation test setup and documentation while learning the fundamentals of wireless standards (LTE 5G Etc.).
• This opportunity is ideal for students considering an engineering degree and looking to gain valuable experience in a professional technical environment.

REPORTING LINE

Directly reports to the Lab Supervisor Lab Manager or Branch Manager

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Support engineering staff with test setup and equipment preparation (under supervision).
• Assist in data collection entry and organization of test results.
• Help with basic troubleshooting and verification of test equipment connectivity.
• Maintain lab cleanliness cable management and equipment labeling.
• Shadow engineers to learn wireless conformance testing processes and industry standards.
• Ensure completion of all assigned work and relevant documentation in accordance with required procedures and standards to fulfill SGS quality requirements.
   

Qualifications :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required:

• Current high school student (junior or senior year preferred) with strong interest in engineering computer science or related field.
• Basic understanding of math physics or electronics (school coursework acceptable).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills.
• Familiarity with computers and Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with the team.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

• Language Skills: English - Intermediate level Required
• Mathematical Skills: Intermediate level Required
• Knowledge of statistical analysis Preferred
• Reasoning Skills/Abilities: Intermediate level Required
• Highly organized Required
• Strong logical thinking/skills Required
• Intend to major in BSEE / Telecom Preferred

COMPUTER SKILLS

• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Excel and Word) - Intermediate user proficiency Required
