Sr. SW Engineer

CyberSource Corporation a Visa Inc. company needs a Sr. SW Engineer (multiple openings) in Bellevue Washington to:

• Design code and systems that touch 40% of the world population while influencing Visas internal standards for scalability security and reusability.
• Collaborate multi-functionally to create design artifacts and develop best-in-class software solutions for multiple Visa technical offerings.
• Actively contribute to product quality improvements valuable service technology and new business flows in diverse agile squads
• Develop robust and scalable products intended for a myriad of customers including end-user merchants b2b and business to government solutions.
• Leverage innovative technologies to build the next generation of Payment Services Transaction Platforms Real-Time Payments and Buy Now Pay Later Technology.
• Support relationship with product owners to gather and refine requirements for one product task adding and taking into account existing tools and solutions within a product.
• Develop and design architect solutions considering integrations with other solutions.
• Provide relevant knowledge on the development of user documentation of solutions and follow standard processes in user documentation.
• Play a minor role in the development and delivery of new features within a product.
• Identify and advance bugs that threaten website functionality.
• Position reports to the Bellevue Washington office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

• Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field followed by 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a software engineer-related occupation.
• Alternatively employer will accept a Masters in Computer Science Engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineer-related occupation.
• Position requires experience in the following:
  • Development language including Java C# C Python JavaScript and TypeScript;
  • Building and deploying modern services and web applications with quality and scalability;
  • Collaborating with Product Test Dev-ops and Agile or Scrum teams to design develop and deliver software features while ensuring alignment on requirements quality testing deployment processes and overall project goals within an agile framework;
  • Utilizing React library to build intuitive and responsive user interfaces for web applications;
  • Configuring and integrating with RAG system to improve information retrieval and response accuracy within applications;
  • Expert in cloud computing and developing application with serverless architecture.

Worksite: Bellevue Washington

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $161138.00 to $164100.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
