Hourly Rate: $28.85
What you will be doing:
- Provide security emergency and first aid assistance
- Implement as directed by the Security Manager all policies and programs related to Security Services
- Guide and support all leaders and colleagues with respect to safety & security procedures
- Educate all new Fairmont colleagues on safety & security
- Assist in the training of all new security officers
- Create and maintain proper documentation on any incidents reported by guests or colleagues
- Ensure adherence to Lost & Found procedures including accepting items with proper documentation assisting colleagues & guests with inquiries maintaining accurate logs and following retention guidelines.
- Investigate and follow up on any reports made by guests or colleagues
- Review the business continuity plan with the security manager and ensure that all updates are communicated to colleagues and that all necessary training is provided
- Conduct lock interrogations and assist Engineering Department with lock repairs
- Conduct foot and vehicle patrols
- Conduct health screenings on colleagues and vendors in accordance with company and government guidelines.
- Organize time so all side work is completed according to shift demand
- Maintain atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging personalized timely and efficient service to our discerning guests
- Focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Promote and enforce health and safety awareness as well as to have a complete understanding of the emergency procedures
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Security law enforcement and/or loss prevention experience is an asset
- Must be able to speak read write and understand the English language.
- Requires good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
- Must be service oriented and capable of communicating effectively with persons involved in all levels of authority both internally and externally.
Licenses or Certificates
- State of Hawaii Guard Card required
- CPR/First Aid Certification required
- TIPS Certification
