Why This Role
For one of our client were looking for licensed Professional Engineers (PE) specializing in Electrical Plumbing or Mechanical disciplines who bring strong technical expertise problem-solving ability and a commitment to quality. The position will coordinate the electrical design with all other disciplines so that the design is completely coordinated internally as well as with external clients.
What youll do:
- The primary duties and responsibilities of this positioninclude the following
Prepare design documents for the project and inaccordance with company standards.
Advise and mentor staff to help in their growth
Monitor project status and development to meet projectdeadlines
Coordinate appropriate time to have a QA/QC reviewcompleted prior to the deadline
Coordinate staffing manpower needs weekly with theProject Manager
Assist in interviewing and providing feedback of possiblefuture personnel
Review the electrical budget hours and recommendedadjustments with Project Manager
Manage manpower needs/timing and monitoring theelectrical budget on the project
Who you are:
- Active PE License in relevant discipline (Electrical Mechanical or Plumbing)
- Solid Industry Experience in building systems design construction or facilities engineering
- Technical Proficiency in relevant codes (NEC IPC IMC ASHRAE etc.) and design tools (e.g. AutoCAD Revit or similar)
- Attention to Detail with the ability to produce accurate code-compliant and constructible designs
- Strong Communication Skills able to coordinate across disciplines clients contractors and stakeholders
- Problem-Solving Mindset able to assess field conditions and propose practical cost-effective solutions
- Project Ownership accountable for meeting deadlines budgets and design standards
