Our client has an opening for a MRI Technologist in Houston TX.
The MRI Technologist performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to produce detailed three-dimensional images of tissues organs and other internal body structures. These images assist radiologists in identifying abnormalities making diagnoses and guiding patient treatment plans.
Principal Accountabilities
Perform MRI procedures including patient preparation explaining the procedure administering contrast when indicated and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the exam.
Position patients accurately and select appropriate imaging parameters to achieve optimal image quality.
Enter and verify patient information and imaging data in the system.
Conduct routine quality assurance checks on MRI equipment and imaging systems; assist with ACR and other accreditation processes as needed.
Promptly report any equipment issues incidents or patient concerns to department management.
Participate in departmental on-call rotations as assigned.
Ensure safe efficient and high-quality care for all patients in accordance with Memorial Hermann policies procedures and service standards.
Engage in ongoing professional development by completing required education maintaining competencies and supporting departmental goals.
Serve as a mentor preceptor and resource to new or less experienced team members.
Demonstrate Memorial Hermanns commitment to compassionate personalized and efficient patient care.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
