Job Summary

Create Technical Drawings:
Develop detailed drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment tools and components using CAD software like AutoCAD SolidWorks or Inventor.
Develop Blueprints:
Design and produce 2D and 3D digital models blueprints and schematics that depict how mechanical systems and components function.
Specify Materials and Dimensions:
Determine and document the necessary materials dimensions and procedures for new products and machinery.
Review and Revise Designs:
Analyze and review engineering documents drawings and specifications making necessary updates and revisions to designs.
Collaborate with Engineers:
Work under the supervision of engineers and architects incorporating their descriptions and feedback into design modifications.
Prepare Manufacturing Documents:
Produce detailed manufacturing drawings that can be used in the production process.
Ensure Accuracy and Compliance:
Check drawings for accuracy completeness and conformity to design specifications and relevant codes.
Assist with Documentation:
Create illustrations for operational and maintenance manuals and assist with generating other technical documentation.

Required Skills and Qualities:

CAD Proficiency: Expertise in using various CAD software and related computer hardware.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical design principles engineering techniques and manufacturing processes.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to ensure precision and accuracy in all drawings and specifications.
