We are looking for an experienced and strategic Reporting and Visualization Lead to lead our People Insights and reporting function with a specific focus on Workday reporting and analytics. This leadership role will drive the development and delivery of scalable insightful and business-aligned reporting solutions across HR and other enterprise functions. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Workday Report Writer Prism Analytics and Discovery Boards along with a strong understanding of data governance storytelling and stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for leading a team of reporting professionals setting the vision for enterprise reporting and driving data democratization through automation visualization and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the reporting and visualization strategy for HR and cross-functional domains using Workday as the primary platform.
- Oversee the development and delivery of complex Workday reports (Advanced Composite Matrix) dashboards (Discovery Boards) and external data integrations via Prism Analytics.
- Build and manage a high-performing team of report developers and data visualization specialists.
- Partner with HR Finance and IT stakeholders to understand reporting needs translate business questions into data requirements and deliver meaningful insights.
- Develop and enforce best practices for data visualization governance version control and reporting security across the Workday platform.
- Ensure data accuracy consistency and usability in all reports and dashboards by collaborating with data stewards and system administrators.
- Lead initiatives to integrate external data sources into Workday using Prism Analytics and design unified user-friendly reporting layers.
- Promote self-service analytics and data literacy by enabling business users to use Discovery Boards and other tools effectively.
- Monitor Workday reporting performance and proactively resolve issues related to access performance or user adoption.
- Influence senior leadership by delivering insights that support workforce planning diversity attrition talent management and operational KPIs.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Analytics Information Systems HR Technology Business Intelligence or a related field.
- 810 years of experience in enterprise reporting business intelligence or HR analytics with at least 3 years in a Workday-focused environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Workday Report Writer including Advanced Composite Matrix and Trending reports.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Prism Analytics including data ingestion modeling and security configuration.
- Strong experience with Discovery Boards for dashboard creation and visual storytelling.
- Solid understanding of HR and people data domains (e.g. headcount attrition diversity workforce planning).
- Proven ability to lead and mentor teams manage complex projects and drive transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communication stakeholder management and storytelling skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Workday Security related to reporting roles and domain access.
- Familiarity with other visualization platforms (e.g. Power BI Tableau) and integration with Workday data.
- Background in Agile project delivery or experience working with cross-functional scrum teams.
- Exposure to Workday People Analytics (Discovery Boards Augmented Insights).
