Grab India is focused on addressing challenges in lending and looks for motivated iOS engineers for its lending mobile team. Were looking for individuals and contribute to multiple programs.
Get to know the role
We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic iOS Engineers to join our team. Youll have the chance to contribute to the flagship Grab app engaging directly with users to understand their challenges and how our solutions can support their professional lives. Initiative in problem identification is crucial for our team members who has the appropriate mindset and skills to address these challenges.
Our team operates with advanced technologies like SwiftUI and Reactive programming. We prioritise architectural integrity and welcome developers suggestions for new mobile approaches and technologies while also emphasising their important components within the team.
You will be reporting to Engineering Manager II. This role is based in Bangalore.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Build Magical Mobile Experiences Use your iOS superpowers to design and deliver sleek features that make users go Whoa thats smooth!
- Champion Clean Elegant Code Write maintainable testable code that follows best practicesbonus if your data structures would make CS professors tear up with pride.
- Review with Purpose and Positivity Participate in code reviews like a true team playergiving feedback thats insightful constructive and sprinkled with good vibes.
- Be the Reliability Rockstar Take ownership of monitoring and alerting setups ensuring your features perform in production (cape optional).
- Communicate Like a Pro Translate complex tech concepts into simple language for your team and stakeholdersno magic spells required just clarity and empathy.
Qualifications :
- The Essential Skills You Will Need
- IOS Experience At least 5 years of hands-on experience building and scaling iOS applications.
- Solid CS Fundamentals understanding of computer science principles from OOP and algorithms to scalable system design.
- Mastery of Modern iOS Practices Comfortable with test-driven development (TDD) reactive programming and dependency injection frameworks.
- Architecture Expertise Familiar with architectural patterns like RIBs or VIPER to keep things modular testable and scalable.
- Growth & Ownership Youre someone whos always learning loves owning their projects end-to-end and thrives when your work makes a meaningful impact.
