Primary Title: Social Media Marketing Intern
About the Opportunity
A digital-first role in the Online Recruitment & Career Services sector serving candidates and employers across India. We focus on building brand awareness lead generation and candidate engagement through creative social and content marketing across platforms driving measurable business outcomes from community growth and content funnels. This is a remote internship open to candidates across India.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create and publish platform-optimised social content (posts carousels short videos stories) aligned to content calendar and brand voice.
- Support daily community management: respond to comments/DMs moderate conversations and escalate relevant leads/queries to the team.
- Help plan and execute small social campaigns and experiments (A/B creatives hashtag tests time-based posts) to boost engagement and reach.
- Track core social metrics and prepare weekly analytics summaries with actionable recommendations for growth and engagement.
- Design quick visuals and short-form videos using Canva or equivalent tools; deliver platform-ready assets for reels/shorts.
- Collaborate with marketing content and recruitment teams to repurpose blog posts job highlights and success stories into social formats.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Current student or recent graduate (any discipline) with demonstrable interest in digital/social media marketing.
- Strong written communication and creative copywriting for social channels in English.
- Hands-on familiarity with Instagram Facebook LinkedIn and at least one short-video platform (TikTok/Reels/YouTube Shorts).
- Basic visual design skills using Canva or similar; ability to produce clean on-brand assets quickly.
- Analytical mindset: able to read platform insights summarise metrics and suggest optimisations.
- Reliable remote-work setup in India and ability to collaborate in asynchronous teams (Slack/Google Workspace).
Preferred
- Prior internship or freelance work in social media or content creation with portfolio links.
- Experience with scheduling tools (Hootsuite Buffer Meta Business Suite) and basic video-editing apps.
- Familiarity with SEO for social hashtag strategy and basic Google Analytics reporting.
