Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Liferay Developer with a strong background in Liferay DXP (7.4) development and implementation. The role requires hands-on expertise in designing developing and maintaining enterprise portal solutions. The candidate should be self-motivated capable of working independently and comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams in a client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop test and deploy web applications using Liferay DXP 7.4.
Upgrade existing modules hooks and extensions to Liferay 7.4.
Customize out-of-the-box (OOB) portlets such as Documents & Media Journal Article Users & Orgs Knowledge Base.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Design and implement customizations and extensions on the Liferay platform.
Write clean efficient and maintainable code following best practices.
Perform code reviews debugging and troubleshooting to ensure quality and reliability.
Integrate Liferay DXP with other enterprise systems and applications.
Work in Agile/DevOps environments ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Hands-on expertise in Liferay 7.4 portal development.
Experience in end-to-end Liferay portal implementation.
Strong knowledge of MVC frameworks.
Proficiency in Liferay extension environments (plugins wrappers core EXT).
Deep understanding of Liferay CMS structures templates and permission framework.
Experience in building and consuming REST SOAP JSON XML web services.
Strong knowledge of SQL queries and databases (SQL Server preferred).
Proficiency with HTML CSS JavaScript jQuery React.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with ability to work in client-facing environments.
Flexible to work with AMS stakeholders across time zones.
Educational Qualifications: BE/BTech/BSc or MSc (IT & computer science) MCA

Additional Information

This is a full-time onsite role based at the client s location in Navi Mumbai (Seawoods).
No work-from-home option is available for this role.
