Job Summary
1. BIM Modeling & Drafting
Develop accurate 3D models of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems using Autodesk Revit.
Create coordinated layouts for HVAC piping firefighting electrical and plumbing systems.
Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D visualizations for design reviews and construction.
Ensure models are aligned with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
2. Coordination & Clash Detection
Coordinate MEP services with architectural structural and other engineering disciplines.
Perform clash detection using Navisworks or other BIM tools and resolve conflicts.
Update models based on clash reports design changes and field modifications.
3. Standards & Compliance
Follow international standards project specifications and oil & gas industry practices.
Maintain adherence to company CAD/BIM standards and ensure model accuracy.
Apply proper naming conventions templates and family creation as per project requirements.
4. Documentation & Deliverables
Generate shop drawings installation drawings and as-built drawings from the Revit model.
Prepare schedules quantity take-offs (QTO) and material lists for procurement.
Ensure deliverables meet project timelines and client requirements.
5. Project Support
Provide support to design engineers during the design and detailing phase.
Update and maintain models throughout the project lifecycle (design construction and handover).
Incorporate redline markups RFIs and design revisions into the model.
6. Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with engineers designers and project managers for smooth coordination.
Attend model review meetings and contribute to design coordination sessions.
Assist in BIM-based project presentations to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
Key Skills Required:
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP AutoCAD and Navisworks.
Understanding of oil & gas MEP systems (HVAC piping firefighting electrical plumbing).
Knowledge of BIM standards coordination workflows and drawing production.
Strong attention to detail problem-solving and communication skills.
