Part Time Catering Assistant weekends term time only

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part Time Catering Assistant to join our team in Brentwood Essex United Kingdom. This position is for weekends (Saturday Sunday or both)during term time only making it an ideal opportunity for students or individuals looking for flexible work hours.

• Assist in food presentation for various events and functions
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment adhering to food safety standards
• Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth service delivery
• Set up and break down catering areas before and after service
• Handle customer inquiries and requests promptly and courteously
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
• Operate basic kitchen equipment and tools safely and efficiently

Qualifications :

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive attitude
• Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work weekends during term time
• Time management skills and ability to multitask
• Previous experience in catering or food service is preferred
