Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Energy Efficiency Consultant to support the commercial industrial and public sector clients in reducing energy consumption and achieving sustainability goals. You will lead energy audits develop decarbonization strategies and help clients. Transition to net-zero through innovative energy-saving technologies and renewable integration.

Job Responsibilities
- Conduct energy audits site assessments and carbon footprint analysis
- Identify and recommend energy-saving measures and technology upgrades
- Prepare energy efficiency reports with ROI payback periods and cost-benefit analysis
- Advise on compliance with UK energy legislation SECR ESOS and ISO 50001
- Collaborate with clients to create net-zero roadmaps and sustainability strategies
- Model building performance using tools such as IES VE DesignBuilder or EnergyPlus
- Support the integration of renewable energy systems (e.g. solar PV heat pumps)
- Assist with funding applications and incentive programs (e.g. SALIX CIBSE)
Requirements
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of energy efficiency technologies HVAC systems and building services
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ESOS SECR TM44 EPC)
- Excellent reporting and client communication skills
- Proficiency in energy modelling software (e.g. IES TAS or similar)
- Understanding of carbon reporting net-zero strategies and sustainability metrics
Desired Skills
- Degree in Energy Engineering Environmental Science Mechanical Engineering or similar
- CIBSE membership or working towards charter ship
- Experience in public sector projects and government reporting schemes
- Project management skills and experience leading multi-site audits

Required Skills In-depth knowledge of corporate sustainability, carbon accounting, and ESG reporting standards Familiarity with SBTi, CDP, GHG Protocol, TCFD, and CSRD Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills Excellent written and verbal communication for reporting and stakeholder engagement Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, or carbon management platforms (e.g., Sphera, Persefoni) 9.
