Job Summary
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a varied and strong knowledge of skills from general plumbing to full heating installations servicing and break downs.
Required skills:
5 years minimum experience
Gas Safe
Full clean UK driving license
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
Candidate must be of smart appearance and must have excellent communication skills.
Candidate must be able to manage jobs to high standard from start to finish either as a team or on an individual basis depending on the job.
Salary negotiable depending upon experience and qualifications permanent position 40 hours per week Mon Fri with overtime (rates x1.5 Mon-Fri & Sat and x2 Sun).
The role may require occasional work away from home for which an additional daily allowance is paid and an enhanced hourly rate. A full clean driving license is essential.

Proven hands-on experience working specifically on petrol station forecourts is required. Experience with installing and maintaining ACO drainage systems, manhole interceptors, and concrete finishes is necessary. A strong understanding of forecourt-specific health and safety requirements is needed, showing familiarity with safety protocols on petrol forecourts. Experience working in demanding site conditions, including physically challenging environments and traveling/staying away as part of the job. Experience using industry-relevant certifications or tickets such as a valid UK PIA (Petroleum Industry Association) Passport and digger/excavator tickets is desirable but not essential. General experience in civil groundworks and concrete finishing is also a plus.
Education
Relevant vocational or technical qualifications related to civil engineering, construction, or petrol forecourt engineering. Practical training or certifications in health and safety, especially those related to petrol forecourt safety standards. Certifications such as the Petroleum Industry Association (PIA) Passport are desirable. Training certificates for operating machinery, such as digger or excavator tickets, are also beneficial but not mandatory.
