NDT Inspector
Location:CV30 Area
Hourly Rate:21.50 per hour holiday pay
Hours:Monday to Thursday;9pm 7am
Contract Length:6-month contract
Contract Type: LTD or Umbrella (inside IR35)
Start Date: ASAP
Syntech Recruitment is proud to partner with a forward-thinking manufacturer to find a talented NDT Inspector with experience in Laser Crack Detection (LCT) to join a precision engineering team on night shifts. Youll play a key role in identifying microscopic surface defects and ensuring the structural integrity of critical transmission components.
NDT Inspector Responsibilities:
- Operate Laser Crack Detection equipment to identify fatigue cracks and surface flaws.
- Work to strict inspection and reporting standards for aerospace/motorsport-grade components.
- Interpret technical drawings and route cards to understand inspection requirements.
- Record results with accuracy and maintain full traceability.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and ensure right-first-time inspection processes.
- CMM Inspection (experience with Mitutoyo software highly desirable)
- Document inspection results clearly and consistently
NDT Inspector Experience:
- Experience as an NDT Inspector ideally with Laser Crack Detection (LCT).
- Background in precision engineering aerospace or motorsport.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and GD&T.
- Detail-focused with strong reporting discipline.
- Flexible proactive and confident working night shifts.
- Proactive problem-solving attitude and team-first mentality
