Functional Header Description:
The Operations Office is responsible for the programme management manufacture and delivery of our Formula 1 cars to our customer the Race Team. The functional departments within the Operations team work together to ensure that car components are manufactured/supplied to the right specification quality and delivered on time to be transported to the Race Team.
Direct Procurement Industrial Placement
As a Direct Procurement Placement youll play a hands-on role in sourcing high-quality components and services that directly contribute to race car performance. Youll support the coordination of car parts and services ensuring timely delivery and value for money. This includes managing a small portfolio of suppliers assisting with procurement databases supplier communications and compliance tasks. This role is ideal for engineering students with strong communication and problem-solving skills and a passion for motorsport.

Assist with procurement tasks including BOM creation inventory reporting and compliance activities.
Coordinate meetings maintain procurement databases and support supplier communications.
Apply your technical understanding to support the manufacture of prototype parts and services.
Qualifications :
Find Your Place
Bring a background in mechanical or automotive engineering or a strong interest and passion in these areas if not studied formally.
Be comfortable with or willing to learn technical drawing interpretation to support procurement accuracy.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and lean manufacturing principles is beneficial.
Motorsport experience through internships or personal projects is highly desirable.
