Job Summary
Testronic a global leader in quality assurance for the entertainment industry is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Accountant in Manila.
The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in accounting or finance and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You should be able to work well independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues and have a high level of attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP) bank transactions general ledger (GL) and reconciliations.
- Manage all disbursement processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Handle all tax-related payments and inquiries in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities related to AP bank accounts credit cards and other financial areas including the preparation and maintenance of supporting schedules.
- Provide support during external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Conduct quarterly asset counts and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate with the Assistant Manager Accounting & Finance regarding month-end entries in SAP.
- Supervise the Junior Accountant in procurement-related tasks.
- Mentor and oversee Junior Accounting Staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency in daily operations.
- Prepare reports related to AP aging bills scheduler credit card transactions and other disbursement-related items.
- Maintain organized financial records with the assistance of the Junior Accountant.
- Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (required).
- CPA or equivalent certification (preferred).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in tax management
- At least 2-3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP QuickBooks or Oracle
- Get it done attitude with sense of urgency
