THE ROLE
The Rotational Intern will work part-time with the Intelligent Automation (IA) Team and part-time with the ServiceNow (SNOW) Team. This unique opportunity provides exposure to two high-impact areas of Digital TechnologyIntelligent Automation and Enterprise Service Managementoffering hands-on experience in building supporting and enhancing digital solutions that drive operational excellence across Oshkosh Corporation.
In this role you will support system maintenance participate in automation and ServiceNow development and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders. Youll gain real-world experience applying classroom knowledge in IT software development and enterprise service management while developing critical problem-solving project management and communication skills.
This role is intended to be onsite at our Oshkosh Wisconsin Global Headquarters.
YOUR IMPACT
As a Rotational Intern you will:
Intelligent Automation Focus
Support and maintain existing automations while adhering to development best practices.
Learn and apply UiPath RPA Developer Foundations to build and test automation workflows.
Participate in all stages of automation deliverydesign development testing deployment hypercare and support.
Assist in performance testing debugging and enhancing automation solutions.
Gain exposure to advanced automation technologies including RPA AI/ML Process/Task Mining and Low-Code platforms (e.g. Power Apps Power Automate Power BI).
ServiceNow Focus
Assist in the support configuration and development of ServiceNow applications.
Manage incidents requests and problems within ServiceNow escalating as needed.
Participate in ServiceNow platform enhancementsbuilding forms workflows and service catalog items.
Support testing documentation and deployment of ServiceNow features.
Learn ServiceNows role in IT Service Management (ITSM) and enterprise workflows aligning with Oshkoshs ITIL framework.
Cross-Team Contributions
Collaborate with IT Project Managers and Business Representatives to support DT portfolio initiatives.
Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
Contribute to design reviews UAT and quality assurance activities.
Document processes testing results and project deliverables.
Provide excellent customer service and technical support across business teams.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Systems/Technology or related IT/DT field.
Familiarity with Intelligent Automation (RPA AI/ML Generative AI Low-Code platforms) and/or ServiceNow.
Graduation date on or after May 2026.
Willingness to work full-time in summers/breaks and part-time (20 hours/week) during school year.
01 year of relevant experience; scholastic or project experience in technology development is a plus.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
Strong interest in Intelligent Automation ServiceNow or enterprise IT service management.
General understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) Agile methodology and ITIL concepts.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel PowerPoint SharePoint).
Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication with ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Flexible adaptable and able to work independently under deadlines.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Previous internship or project experience in global IT automation or ServiceNow environments is a plus
Pay Range:
$18.00 - $37.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range individual pay is determined by various factors including the scope and responsibilities of the role the candidates experience education and skills as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
