The Grab Financial Group (GFG) Team oversees shapes and drives the strategy and growth initiatives of money movement for the Grab ecosystem in the Philippines. The team is at the forefront of digital innovation focused on simplifying payments through secure seamless solutions like e-wallets card payments and digital banking. The team drives decision-making to ensure major initiatives create the maximum value for the Grab ecosystem whether by driving down costs generating incremental revenue or providing the best payment solutions for our stakeholders including merchants drivers and passengers.
Get to Know the Role
You will help develop and execute Grabs payments strategy for the Philippines. Your main focus will be to drive the adoption of cashless payment and dine-out solutions for merchants by analyzing market behavior and merchant trends. Youll report to the Manager for Merchant Enablement and will be based onsite at our office in Ortigas.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Data analytics
- You will design and execute promo mechanics to help drive and support business objectives
- You will unlock data insights and present them in a digestible manner with clear recommendations
- You will track success metrics and build data visualization tools for business owners
- You will execute internal/external projects (including ad hoc activities) through a structured and collaborative approach and according to agreed requirements while ensuring flexibility to adapt to internal/external factors
- You will escalate and resolve roadblocks when needed to deliver outcomes in a timely manner
- Cross-functional and cross-vertical collaboration
- You will support designing solutions to complex business problems and gather requirements from relevant partners (direct and indirect stakeholders)
- You will foster and strengthen a culture of cross-functional and cross-vertical collaboration on project planning execution and feedback loops
- Stakeholder management and communications
- You will gather data requirements from different stakeholders with clear understanding of objectives
- You will manage communication of progress and alignment of overall direction with relevant teams
- You will support in performing analyses to enable data driven decision making
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- You have a Bachelors Degree in Business Economics Engineering Analytics or any related fields; Masters Degree preferred
- You have 3 or more years of experience in Data Analytics Strategy or Management Consulting
- You are highly analytical with keen attention to details; proficient in both strategy and operations
- You are passionate about Grabs social mission; dedicated to positive impact internally and externally
- You are a strong motivator collaborator and negotiator; excellent communication skills; adept at influencing diverse groups
- You are highly entrepreneurial executional resilient and agile; self-standing with a strong drive for excellence and growth
- You are proficient in Microsoft and Google Workplace tools; demonstrated experience in driving transformative initiatives; SQL and Python knowledge required; AI and LLM proficiency preferred
- You have excellent communication skills in English and Filipino; capable of managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders; proven track record in collaborating across functions for process development and strategic problem-solving
