The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 2000 professionals SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions toward life-cycle management user interface & user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products and business applications. Most recently SAP Labs Bulgaria expanded in the topics of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. We are looking for aFull Stack Developer with experience and strong interest in LLM agent frameworks MCP and modern cloud technologiesto join us in shaping the future of SAPs products. This is an exciting opportunity to help build next-generation intelligent applications using both proven and emerging technologies.
What youll build
Collaborate with design frontend engineers and product management to deliver AI-driven features to upskill existing solutions.
Design and implement anMCP server and agent-based systemsthat integrate seamlessly with our platforms.
Prototype and implement with AI agents MCP serversLLMs prompt engineering etc.
Work on bothbackend services ()andfrontend frameworks (React UI5 etc.) building scalable end-to-end solutions.
Contribute to thefull software development lifecycle: requirements verification solution design implementation testing and deployment.
Working as part of a highly motivated Agile team towards achieving common goals focusing on usability and viability driving technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
What you bring
Experience in the full life cycle of software development from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
Hands-on experience with LLM-based services AI agents MCP servers prompt engineering.
Curiosity adaptability and eagerness to learn and applyAI/ML conceptsin practical use cases.
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
Demonstrated problem solving and solution building skills as well as the initiative to deliver results.
Excellent development skills in frontend programming with React Angular or SAP UI5.
Solid backend knowledge and such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
Understanding ofmicroservices design patternsand cloud-native architectures.
Fluency both written and spoken in English.
