Road Ranger

OVERVIEW

Archer Western de Moya JV a member of The Walsh Group is currently seeking a Road Ranger for the Miami Signature Bridge in Miami FL.

The Road Ranger will be responsible for monitoring traffic conditions and communicating with emergency responders regarding traffic incidents and/or obstructions on the road; primary goal is overall safety of the public and employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Monitor flow of traffic in and around the construction jobsite
• Communicate with the appropriate individuals in cases of emergency and/or incidents on the road
• Complete detailed logs of traffic incidents and/or obstructions on the road
• Ensure understanding of federal state and local policies regarding safety

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous roadway construction and maintenance experience highly preferred
• Must pass criminal background check; state certification may be required for some projects
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing bending kneeling or sitting for long periods
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

RESPONSABILIDADES

Las responsabilidades incluyen pero no se limitan a:

CALIFICACIONES

• Experiencia previa en construcción y mantenimiento de carreteras altamente preferida
• Debe pasar la verificación de antecedentes penales; La certificación estatal puede ser requerida para algunos proyectos
• Debe poder levantar hasta 50 libras; puede ser requerido para trabajar en varias condiciones climáticas
• Requiere la capacidad de cumplir con todas las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad; comunicarse efectivamente con compañeros de trabajo y supervisores para asegurar que los proyectos se completen adecuadamente
