DescriptionAfognak Native Corporation has an opportunity for a Director of Property Management at our corporate offices in Anchorage Alaska. The Director of Property Management leads the strategic operational and administrative management of the Alutiiq and Afognak Centers in Anchorage and Kodiak. Responsibilities include overseeing facilityoperations project coordination financial oversight lease and rental management and workforcedevelopment.
- Strategic Direction: Provide strategic program-related guidance of ongoing operations andprocedures for the Alutiiq Center & Afognak Centers maintenance marketing facilityleasing/renting activities along with administrative management of operations based in theAnchorage and Kodiak offices. Responsible for organizational efficiency by setting goalsmonitoring work evaluating results and confirming objectives and operating requirements arewithin the Afognak Native Corporation strategic plan mission and core values.
- Facility Oversight: Manage the daily operations of the Alutiiq Center in Anchorage andAfognak Center in Kodiak ensuring the upkeep of the facility and leading the front deskmaintenance and event staff to uphold the highest standards of health safety security andenvironmental stewardship.
- Operational Oversight: Collaborate with senior staff to develop and implement operationalinfrastructure of systems processes and personnel to accommodate the performance andgrowth objectives of the corporation. Continuously evaluate operations to maximizeperformance and quality of the Alutiiq and Afognak Centers.
- Project Coordination: Spearhead special initiatives aimed at bolstering administrativesupport for operational efficiency and enhancing internal and external relations.
- Financial Management: Oversee the fiscal responsibilities including budgeting profit andloss analysis and expense control for the Anchorage Alutiiq Center the AQ FacilityService Center the Kodiak Facility Service Center the Kodiak Shareholder space and theReal Estate.
- Resource Administration: Administer office resources staff support event support andbuilding maintenance (including preventative replacement and emergency protocols) tomeet the directives of theBoard and Executive Management adhering to maintenancemanufactures specifications codes and industry benchmarks.
- Team Leadership: Recruit develop and lead the administrative support staff event staffand facility technicians at the Anchorage and Kodiak offices optimizing office functionalityand adherence toestablished communication procedures. Foster teamwork to developlead and enhance operating plans.
- Lease Management: Actively maintain and enhance the Alutiiq Centers lease agreementsthrough business development efforts professional interactions with tenants andcollaboration with corporatepersonnel the Board contractors and vendors; fosteringrelationships that ensure the facilitys optimal performance and positive rapport.
- Afognak Center Rentals: Ensure strategic oversite of the Afognak Centers operationsincluding rental coordination event execution client relations vendor management facilityinspections issueresolution rental growth and performance reporting to enhance clientsatisfaction and drive the rentals success.
- Workforce Development: Formulate strategies and collaborate with external partners andAfognak personnel to identify and capitalize on workforce development opportunitiesrelated to facilities leasingrentals or other specialized projects. Encourage maximumperformance and dedication through continuous staff development.
- Special Assignments: Undertake additional property-related projects as delegated.
- Adhere to the Alutiiq values of harmony mutual respect efficiency full disclosure and respect forElder knowledge culture and heritage enshrined in ANC Policies.

Payrate:$85000 to $107000 Annually
Requirements- College Degree or equivalent in business management economics accounting real estatefinance or liberal arts
- Minimum 4-6 years in property management or related field with proven track record.
- Experience in a leadership role particularly managing large-scale operations and leading a team.
- Experience with project management including demonstrated financial management budgetingproblem solving decision making as well as thinking laterally and offer positive creative solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication required including a robust understanding ofbusiness English grammar and office protocols.
- The ability to exercise sound judgement and maintain confidentiality regarding corporate andBoard matters.
- Possessing strong interpersonal abilities excelling in teamwork and adept at personnelmanagement.
- Demonstrate excellence in organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritizework effectively.
- Able to balance multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficient in Adobe and all MS Office applications including Access Excel Word PowerPointand Outlook.
- Valid state drivers license with a clean driving record to qualify as an authorized driver under theCorporations established auto and insurance policy requirements.
- Able to adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations.
- Periodic travel both in-state and out-of-state is required.
- Willing to work days evenings nights overtime weekends and holidays as required.
- A demonstrated ability for strategic planning leading teams and achieving corporate objectives.
- Proven marketing and business development capability.
- Established network of industry contacts.
Preferred Qualifications or Skills:
- RPA or CPM designation.
