We are actively seeking a ships cook for the OCEAN TRAVERSE NORD (OTN). The incumbent will be responsible for cooking for the nine crew members of the largest vessel in the Ocean fleet (64.3 m in length) and the only suction dredger in Eastern Canada. The vessel performs major dredging projects throughout Eastern Canada and the Caribbean.

YOUR TALENTS WILL BE USED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING CHALLENGES:
- Plan supplies needed for travel.
- Place orders.
- Set up menus.
- Ensure the preparation of meals for the nine-member crew.
- Participate and support the activities of the Health Safety and Environment Management System.
OUR IDEAL COLLEAGUE HAS:
- MED Basic Safety STCW Certificate
- Ships cook certificate or catering diploma
- Relevant experience on board a vessel (asset)
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards on board a vessel
- Valid Canadian passport
- Availability to travel frequently to different operation sites
- Languages: advanced level in French and/or in English oral and written.
