- Strategic Workforce Planning Collaborate with leaders toidentifytalent needs and align workforce planning with business goals ensuring the organization is future-ready.
- Employee Relations & Engagement Advise leaders on employee issues performance management and engagement strategies to foster a productive and inclusive workplace.
- Talent Development Support career development succession planning and performance optimization initiatives that empower employees and strengthen leadership pipelines.
- Change Management Partner with leadership to drive organizational change and ensure smooth implementation of new processes and initiatives.
- Business Insight & Analytics Leverage HR metrics and trends toprovideactionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Policy & Compliance Ensure business unitsoperatein alignment with P&C policies employment law and organizational values.
- Escalation Point Serve as a trusted advisor and escalation point for complex employee relations performance or organizational issues.
- Strategic Alignment Align the Business Partner function with organizational priorities and ensure delivery of impactful P&C support.
Ifthe below describesyourknowledge experienceandcharacterthis role could be for you:
- I gained my knowledge through 35 years of direct experience in HR or People & Culture including business partnering and employee relations.
- I have a post-secondary degree in Business Administration Human Resources or Social Psychology. CHRP/CHRL or CPHR is a nice to have.
- I have knowledge of Ontario Employment Law & Compliance including ESA Human Rights Code OHSA andlabourrelations basics.
- I have experience with workforce planning performance management talent development succession planning and organizational design.
- Iveworked with tools like HRIS ATS performance management platforms and engagement tools.
- Imfamiliar with HR metrics dashboards and analytics for making data-informed decisions.
- Imexceptional at supporting multiple business units leading change management initiatives and coaching small P&C teams.
- I get most excited about partnering with leadership to align people strategies with business goals.
- Imextra passionate about creating inclusive high-performing cultures and improving workflows and communication across teams.
- I have a proven ability to influence without authority provide guidance on sensitive issues and lead with empathy and strategic insight.
- Imwilling to occasionally traveland have a valid passport and no travel restrictionsthat limit my ability tocross the border between Canada and the USA(and Vietnam ifrequiredfor role).
