Job Summary
The AWS Global Network Delivery (GND) team is searching for a passionate and talented business analyst (BA) to launch metrics reports and insights using data visualization as needed to drive Data Center and Network Capacity deployment efficiencies. You will assess the data pipeline & reporting needs to determine and drive prime solutions for our customers. You will work with stakeholders and internal team members to compliment improvement programs administration. You will be responsible for designing the performance management models scaling data processes and reports streamlining and simplifying process workflows as well as managing project timelines and deliverables.
Youll join a diverse team of software hardware and network engineers supply chain specialists security experts operations managers and other vital roles. Youll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Key job responsibilities
Interfacing with business customers gathering requirements and developing complex analytics model and data-sets for deep dive.
Identifying the data quality issues across the various platforms at Amazon Web Services.
Extracting and combining data from various heterogeneous data sources.
Partnering with other analysts and engineers to build analytical solutions to deliver on business goals
Propose and implement new business metrics for senior management reviews and work with the data engineer to design and develop data infrastructure to support these metrics for business growth.
Influencing across multiple levels of leadership and organizations through strong communication and analytical skills.
Build statistical models and ML based algorithms to perform insight analysis and help in decision making.

- 3 years of business analyst data analyst or similar role experience
- 5 years of Excel (including VBA pivot tables array functions power pivots etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Experience with AWS services including S3 Redshift EMR and RDS

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
