Nobu Miami is the Miami outpost of Chef Nobu Matsuhisas new Japanese cuisine empire. Nobu draws upon his classical training at sushi bars in Tokyo and his life abroad in Peru Argentina and around the world to create a whole new trend in Japanese cuisine bringing a burst of excitement to the already famed scene of Miami Beach.
Located in the Nobu Hotel at Eden Roc Nobu adds an extra level of class and sophistication to the iconic hotel. Nobu Miami now offers patio seating as well as an exclusive Teppan Room. Nobus signature dishes such as Yellowtail with Jalapeño and Black Cod Miso are served to throngs of fans proving that in the end it is all about the food.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Highly acclaimed Nobu Miami Beach is expanding its bar team for our Brand New Location. We are looking for dynamic individuals to serve our guests in the Nobu style with prompt service quality beverages and products and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. We are looking for reliable hardworking and professional Candidates.

COMPENSATION

  • Depends upon Skills and Experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain complete knowledge of the restaurant features beverages/cocktails /wines/etc. cuisine general information
  • Maintain knowledge of the restaurant standard policies and procedures
  • Cleaning and Maintaining the Dispense Bar area at all time
  • Set up and break down of the bar/dispense area
  • Prepare Hot beverages for guests in the Nobu style
  • Assisting the bar and FOH staff with any other bar/beverage needs

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 1 Year Experience in bar restaurant or a fast-paced hospitality setting
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Basic Food and Beverage knowledge consistent and concise guest relations
  • Must have knowledge of coffee tea sake wine and champagne
  • Abilities to constantly stand/walk occasional stooping kneeling or crawling while occasional pushing pulling lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs
