Job Summary
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Tank Design Engineer to design and develop transformer tanks and accessories. The role involves ensuring structural integrity manufacturability and compliance with international standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design transformer tanks and related accessories per IEC IEEE ANSI IS standards.
- Create 3D models drawings and BOMs using CAD tools.
- Optimize designs for performance cost and manufacturability.
- Conduct design reviews and collaborate with suppliers/fabrication vendors.
- Ensure proper documentation and revision control.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 610 years of experience in transformer tank design.
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis welding standards and mechanical design principles.
- Proficiency in CAD and design tools.
