An exciting co-op opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Calgary AB office beginning May 2026 for a 12-month term. This is a temporary full-time hourly-paid position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work.
This position will report directly to the Director IT Strategy office. As the Co-op Student Strategy & Change you will provide hands-on support to the IT Strategy Team and the corresponding stakeholders using a collaborative results-oriented approach. You will assist in responding to queries and providing guidance related to processes programs and strategic efforts. Most of the day-to-day interaction is with others in the IT Strategy & Change Team and various IT Leaders.
What you will do:
- Prepare monthly strategy monitoring reports and performance analysis.
- Support the maintenance of the IT strategy processes and risk mitigation programs.
- Support the coordination of monthly strategic vendor analysis reports.
- Support the consolidation of monthly status report data on vendor cyber score performance.
- Produce monthly detailed and summary IT Strategy reports for key team members within the IT organization.
- Assist with strategic workforce reviews and associated workforce planning efforts.
- Assist with change readiness and communication programs.
- Provide ad hoc support to the IT Strategy Office as required.
- Pro-actively identify areas for improvement potential problem areas and gaps and provide recommendations.
- Understand and follow corporate policies and programs including the Companys Health and Safety Program Policy and Procedures.
What you will bring:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program at a recognized post-secondary institution in Business Communication Finance or other related business or technology field minimum 2nd year student with a graduation date of August 2026 or later.
