Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient- centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Department Led Capital Projects (DLCP) which is administratively housed within Shared Health delivers major healthcare infrastructure projects across the Province of Manitoba. New projects in the portfolio include: the Victoria Hospital Redevelopment Park Manor Care Home Personal Care Home Expansion Arborg Personal Care Home Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home and the Cancer Care Manitoba New 2nd Building.
DLCP is looking for a Project Manager (PM) with at least 3-5 years of experience in capital projects delivery who is passionate about making a difference in healthcare for our community. The PM role is key to support effective project delivery processes working collaborating with an integrated team including the consultants contractors and health delivery client groups - from pre-design through to take-over and warranty. DLCP Major capital project teams are comprised of one Senior PM two or more Project Managers and Furniture / Equipment Coordinators and are supported by the Program Leader Project Director finance and administrative staff. DLCP reports directly to the Deputy Ministers Office.
DLCP mandate is that each and every project shall be delivered with the following key principles: Ownership/ Accountability; Trust; Teamwork and Partnerships.
