Job Summary

We are looking for Planned Maintenance Shift Engineer (Automation Engineer) focused in Automation area who will be responsible for ensuring the productivity and delivery of the production machinery following Tetra Paks continuous improvement methodology and quality parameters
The position is based in Queretaro Mexico reporting to Planned Maintenance Leader.
You must be able to rotate shifts.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do

As a Planned Maintenance Shift Engineer (Automation Engineer) you will:

  • Review support and corrections of process equipment through mechanical and electrical diagnostics via PLC (Siemens).
  • Development of improvements through low-cost automation
  • Create the prioritization of the agenda based on production needs and the maintenance calendar.
  • Support the pillar in terms of KPIs / objectives achieved.
  • Participation in WCM continuous improvement teams.
  • Promote World Class Manufacturing activities (PM Planned Maintenance / AM Autonomous Maintenance) on a day-to-day basis with the teams staff.
  • Support the pillar in terms of the execution of the KAIs (Key Activity Indicators).
  • Provide training to production operators team in AM and maintenance routines.
  • Solve non-routine or chronic problems related to technical or machine issues.
  • Coordination and active participation in failure analysis of machine breakdowns.
  • Execution of planned maintenance activities.

We believe you have

  • You must be able to rotate shifts.
  • Bachelors degree in engineering: Mechatronics Automation or related career.
  • Intermediate English language.
  • At least 2 years of experience inside a factory working in maintenance area: preventive and corrective
  • PLC programming (Siemens) and solid knowledge of Drives (Siemens Parker etc)
  • Good knowledge in Mechanics Hydraulics Pneumatics and Electronics
  • Management knowledge in SAP Excel level intermediate (Statistical Measurement FX Pivot tables graphics etc)
  • Nice to have knowledge in WCM or TPM methodology
  • Previous collaboration in KAIZEN and continuous improvement teams is a plus
  • Responsible teamwork collaboration continuous improvement mindset.
