Job Summary

Temp To Full-Time

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our clients team in Vancouver WA. This role focuses on inspecting testing and evaluating fire sprinkler systems while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining strict compliance with fire protection codes.

Pay: $40/hr DOE & certifications
Schedule: MondayFriday Day Shift

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections and functional testing of fire sprinkler systems

  • Respond to service calls and troubleshoot system issues as needed

  • Verify system components devices valves and controls per NFPA standards

  • Document inspection results deficiencies and corrective recommendations

  • Collaborate with clients contractors and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely inspections

  • Assist sales teams by providing technical fire system expertise

  • Work safely while standing walking climbing lifting bending and performing hands-on tasks

  • Maintain professionalism and customer-focused communication throughout all site visits

What You Bring

  • NICET II certification in testing of water-based fire protection systems

  • Washington State Journey-Level Sprinkler Fitter certification

  • Working knowledge of NFPA 10 and NFPA 25

  • Familiarity with alarm panels fire protection devices and critical system components

  • Strong customer service skills with clear written and verbal communication

  • Ability to complete digital documentation accurately and efficiently

  • Valid drivers license and reliable consistent attendance

Maybe You Have

  • Portland Certificate of Fitness Fire Extinguisher License (or willingness to obtain)

  • Backflow prevention device certification

  • Fire extinguisher certification

  • Experience supporting alarm system inspections or service work

Work Environment
This role involves performing inspections in commercial and industrial settings. Expect standing climbing lifting and working in various environmental conditions. PPE is required and strong customer interaction is a regular part of the job.
