What youll do:

Location: Sofia Bulgaria (office attendance 3 times a week is mandatory)

Expected start date: asap (6 months contract)

Student status is a mandatory requirement for this role!

As part of the team you will have the opportunity to operate and support business critical Cloud services.

As part of your daily job you will proactively monitor the service behavior and identify areas for improvement. You will participate in the development of tools for monitoring and troubleshooting cloud services built on latest open source and SAP technologies following SRE principles. You will have the opportunity to learn from top professionals and gain real expertise.

In this role youll:

• Rapidly gain knowledge about modern cloud technologies and platforms

• Cloud Foundry Terraform Docker Jenkins Concourse Git GitHub etc
• Cloud Platforms such as AWS Azure GCP
• Monitoring logging and alerting tools like Dynatrace Grafana Kibana
• Programming languages Databases Unix/Linux

• Learn how to write code(Java Python etc..) according to the highest code quality standards
• Get acquainted with the agile processes for development and SCRUM methodologies
• Work on solutions that focus on improved cloud stability and bring great value to many other teams

What you bring:

If you are passionate about learning software engineering based on cutting-edge technology and deep dive and troubleshoot different problems. If you have enthusiasm for automation - make the computers do the work for you you definitely can fit our team.

Required skills and competencies:

• Student in Computer Science or related technical field
• Basic Linux knowledge and understanding working with CLI (basic commands)
• Basic Networking knowledge and understanding
• Courses from Cloud providers like Azure Amazon are considered as an advantage
• Experience with monitoring alerting and logging tools is considered as an advantage
• Excellent team player passionate about his/her work self-motivated and driven
• Excellent communication skills - precise based on facts
• Fluency in English

About the team

The Reliability Engineering organization provides multitude of products and services related to continuity of business delivery. The Site Reliability Engineering teams make the SAP Business Technology Platform run better by providing 24x7 deep technical on-call coverage for Incident Management (Outages and other incidents with major customer impact) and applying SRE principles. We share a Live Site First culture and care for the business continuity of our customers running mission critical applications in the Cloud on top of the Platform.
