  • Role type: Maximum-Term Full-Time Maternity Leave Backfill (until February 2027)

  • Role grade: Health Services Manager Level 3

  • Department and location: Alcohol and Drug Service St Vincents Hospital Darlinghurst

  • Salary: $127150.00- $144444.00 super salary packaging

About the role

  • Lead a diverse multidisciplinary team across Stimulant Services ADSOutpatient Burton Street Centre Youth Service and Assertive Community Management teams.

  • Drive innovative client-centred care and oversee day-to-day operations to meet quality financial and performance targets.

  • Shape new models of care and champion quality improvement across St Vincents Alcohol and Drug Service.

  • Represent ADS at key committees and sector forums to influence service delivery and policy direction.

  • Make a real difference in the lives of people affected by alcohol and drug use while delivering on our Mission objectives.

About you

  • Qualified & experienced tertiary qualifications in a health-related discipline (or equivalent experience) with deep knowledge of drug and alcohol policy treatment and harm-minimization approaches.

  • Proven leader strong track record managing and motivating multi-disciplinary teams driving day-to-day operations and quality improvement projects.

  • Clinical insight & innovation experience in contemporary drug and alcohol treatment including counselling brief interventions and pharmacotherapy and contributing to policy and service development.

  • Excellent communicator confident negotiator with outstanding written and verbal communication skills able to build relationships with patients staff and external stakeholders.

  • Organized & adaptable exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing workloads in a complex fast-paced environment.
