Job Summary
Were looking for a practical hands-on team leader to step into a full-time management role overseeing delivery operations across the Auckland region. Whether you have people leadership experience or are ready for your first formal management position in logistics or operations this is a chance to lead with support structure and growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Service Delivery Manager youll lead the day-to-day mail delivery operation for Auckland and our wider network of satellite sites including Whangarei. Youll report to the Auckland Area Manager and manage a team of Team Leaders a Service Delivery Coordinator and Delivery Staff.
Youll split your time between the main branch and your satellite sites making sure our service runs smoothly efficiently and safely every day. This is an on-site position.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading daily mail sorting anddeliveryacross multiple branches
- Coaching Team Leaders and frontline teams to meet performance targets
- Tracking KPIs likedeliveryaccuracy and run efficiency
- Overseeing H&S compliance vehicle checks and site safety
- Supporting new hire onboarding training and certification
- Managing fleet and route optimisation (including run mapping and redesigns)
- Reviewing rosters approving payroll inputs and managing costs to budget
